Cross-country skiing is one of the healthiest opportunities to enjoy winter in South Tyrol. The Valle Aurina Valley offers a particularly large number of cross-country skiing opportunities:

The sunny tracks of Casere in the Valle Aurina Valley up to 1,600 m a.s.l. Across open space, you head in towards the valley with several lifts past the Heiliggeistkirche (Holy Ghost Church) to the Adleralm hut.

The round looping track in Rio Bianco in the Valle Aurina Valley runs across open country. In towards the valley, sporting prowess will be required.

The cross country centre Riva di Tures – in the wonderful valley basin in Riva, the tracks run in various variants and wide loops across open countryside and snow-covered ground.

You can find further tracks in the vicinity in the Anterselva Valley with the Biathlon centre and the first class slopes in the Casies Valley.
